We felt it was extremely important to add green options to our fleet. The transportation sector generates the largest share of greenhouse gas emissions. Roughly 27% of 2020 greenhouse gas emissions from transportation primarily come from burning fossil fuels for our cars, trucks, ships, trains, and planes. We knew we needed to do our part to promote change.
In 2020, Playbook became one the first logistics companies to fight global climate change by offering carbon-neutral/net-zero shipments for LTL and truckload shipments. We are proud of our environmental leadership in an industry that can make a difference!
